General Data Protection Regulation
Officially known as (EU) 2016/679 it is a regulation on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA).
Its aim is to let EU citizens and resident have control over their data unifying at the same time the different pre-existing regulations in each EU member state.
